Hostel
A warden can run a whole building from a phone: allocation, night roll call, home leave with recorded consent, out-passes, mess, the infirmary log and the 2am round.
What it does
- Hostel → section → room → bed, with boys / girls / mixed / staff on the hostel
- Occupants covering your students, your staff and boarders from other institutes
- Night roll call that pre-marks anyone on approved leave
- Home leave with guardian consent recorded, and the channel it came through
- Mess per meal by card or typed code, billed to the person or their institute
- Infirmary log with guardian-notified time, and night rounds per hostel
- Security deposits, refunds and withholdings
Why this one is different

The hostel's category is checked on every path into a bed — allocation, transfer, every screen. A room not yet filed under a hostel is refused outright rather than waved through, because a missing setting must never read as permission.
